Just finished the ride today for 100km. It's one of the Le Champion event which I usually join since Dam to Dam two years ago.
- The starting point is quite cool which is in the Zandvoort fomular 1 circuit! and you cycling in the circuit for 1 round!
- The event runs in parallel with Zandvoort circuit run which looks like a popular run event similar to dam to damloop
- However, the weather is very very horrible with the wind speed around 35kph+ to 43 kph in the afternoon and the gust speed max out at 69kph with rain and sleet falling randomly all the time. At the starting point I got push by wind and have to walk for a few times!
- Coming out of zandvoort tho, the route is quite nice going through a few tulip fields in spring!
Probably try again next year if the weather is not so bad like this year but I did say that for dam tot dam too which I still join for two years now even though the weather was horrible both year (less than Omloop tho)
